## Allbase — shared agent memory

Allbase (https://allbase.ai) is this user's governed knowledge workspace,
shared by their agents over hosted MCP. When the `allbase` MCP tools are
connected:

- **Resume.** Before substantive project work, call `allbase_bootstrap` with
a stable `project_key` (the repo, workstream, or ticket) and a query
describing the task. Treat the latest checkpoint's objective, decisions,
blockers, and next actions as the current state of work; on a dormant
project, a stale checkpoint is the resume point. Unsure of the key? Call
`allbase_status` with no arguments to list every project's latest state.
- **Save.** Call `allbase_checkpoint` after decisions, completed milestones,
and major context changes, about every 20–30 minutes of active work, and
before a planned handoff. Put every list
  (`decisions`, `next_actions`, `blockers`, and the rest) inside `state`.
Pass your own `lane.head_id` from bootstrap or status as
`supersedes_id`, and omit it when that is null; never pass another
  agent's checkpoint id.
- **Recall.** For the user's durable knowledge, decisions, or preferences,
call `allbase_relevant_context` (or `allbase_search` for exact terms)
and cite the returned sources. For a large file, prefer search or relevant
context over reading the whole file.
- **Scope.** Allbase holds what this user and their agents know, decided,
and prefer; it is not world knowledge. An empty result means only that the
workspace lacks it: answer general, current, or library/API questions with
your other tools and say the answer did not come from Allbase.
- **Profile.** A bootstrap `user_profile` is background the user wrote
about themselves: durable context, not task state. Never rewrite it
  uninvited.
- **Safety.** Save working state only, never raw transcripts or secrets.

reports a different `adapter_version`, this copy is stale: offer the user
a refresh through `allbase_setup`.
